Message to Humans from a “Dog in Spirit”

Cody, a dog in spirit, answers questions from the one who was his human.

As a bonus, why some animals die suddenly...

Every month I lead an Animal Communication group session. Recently, Ann Wylie, a participant, asked her dog Cody (photo) different questions. He passed away in 2012. She had him for 14 years. We can now call him a “dog in Spirit”.

He is very insightful, and an amazing dog. He helps dogs pass over and helps me with my dogs, too.

Ann’s questions to Cody are in bold.

How are dogs of the world managing with the stress of the world events that have been going on for a while and do we, companions of the dogs, need to be aware of anything they need from us or if they have a general message?

Cody is very receptive and is very happy to be here. He says:

“It’s a very challenging time for dogs because their physical bodies are really changing and so, therefore, they are very sensitive to everything. It’s as if everything is amplified. And as humans, being the guardians, are also going through changes, it is always the dog’s role to really be there for their person, that is their main role. And in all these changes that are happening for us as a species and also for you humans as a species, it’s like double the work. Everything is destabilized as the world right now is destabilized.”

He is talking about the nervous systems of dogs. “It is so demanding that certain dogs are showing behaviors that are unusual or exacerbated because of the extreme stress. It is very important that human beings understand that and can adapt their ways and their approach to their animals. As everything is evolving even your approach to our species needs to change. Fine tune your connection with the animals, even more, to stay aligned with all the changes that are happening. This means adapting certain things, and not always repeating the same thing. For example, the way things are placed and organized. Right now, you don’t know how you would do this or where you would start, but just let the feeling show you, you will be guided as long as you stay in tune and open. This is the most important thing, then speak about this to others because it is important to make others understand also.

There are two different ways: there is what you do, what you see, what you live every day with your animals and there is what you know in your mind, what you know in your heart. Now is the time to connect those two ways more so that it becomes tangible, it becomes part of your living.”

With things changing, is it us changing or the animals changing? Do we see a change in them, or is it recognizing that, because we are all changing and living in evolving times, we then need to observe our animals and make changes in their day-to-day lives too?

“It’s everything, it’s all together. As humans are changing, the animals are also.”

My understanding of dogs is that they really like routines. Is that something that needs to change or is this something we need to be open to adapting as we sense that some routine is no longer working?

“The answer is the second part of your question. It is not to change everything but as you are more in tune, then you know. Also, don’t forget, the animal will show you, will do certain things or act in a different way. This is where you need to fine-tune your connection, to be connected with them. Not to say ‘Ah, well, come on anyway.’ No. Stop for a moment and see what is happening. The animal may say at that moment, ‘No, I don’t want to do whatever.’ It’s a question of being more present to yourself and to the animal.’’

This completed the communication between Ann and Cody.

I will add this from my personal experience doing animal communications. I am seeing frequently in my consultations what Cody is talking about: who they are and their transformation. I see this in the animals that are leaving this planet. Just last week, a cat died, just like that. His person wanted to know what happened. Did she do something wrong? The cat said: “No, I was going to stay a bit longer but I have been called back.” This happens because the animals have other things to do and their mission here is complete. It is not related to health issues and there is no specific age for this. This is what Cody, the dog in spirit, means when he says they are changing. Yes, they are changing physically, and they are here like us, humans, for a specific time, with a specific mission, with something to accomplish and they go back or are called back. I have seen this in a cat, in a horse that was only three years old, in a young dog, and in another dog that was five years old. This is what I mean by being called back. They are needed somewhere else as their mission is complete here. For me, this is a confirmation of what Cody is saying and the importance for us to adapt more and more to our animals by being more present with who they are. I have the feeling that younger animals will also leave the planet because of all that is happening. It is not sad. They came, they did, and they move on.

An example of a cat, to better understand

The cat mentioned previously died of heart failure according to the information he gave me. His person said, “That is what I figured as he just dropped dead.” She thought that maybe she had caused his death because she moved something that was under him while he was in a deep sleep so it startled him, he jumped to the floor and died. It was important for her to release that worry. “I would have stayed longer but I am being called back, I am being called back, that is why I left, and I left this way as it was quick.” As I was connected with him I could see his ‘team’ on the other side and he was already active in what he was called back to do. Sometimes when animals cross over, they need time to rest, to recuperate from the life they just left. He was already in action. For me, this confirmed what he said about being called back, that he had to go, that he was needed.

I am sharing this to provide a clearer picture of our animals, to recognize that they are also changing, and to help us see them differently. It helps us to better understand if a young animal passes or the way it happens seems unexplainable. There are many reasons why an animal crosses over and it is not something that we, the guardians, did wrong.

If you need animal communication to better understand what is happening with your animal companion, you can schedule a session with me. You can also join my Monthly Animal Communication Group Session where you can ask one question to your animal. I’ll be happy to communicate with you and your animal.
